中国衡陽南華大学
南华大学( University of South China )，始建于1958年，位于湖南省衡阳市。
是由国家工业和信息化部、生态环境部、国家卫生健康委员会、国家国防科技工业局、中国核工业集团公司[1]和湖南省人民政府共建的综合性大学，由中南工学院和衡阳医学院于2000年5月合并组建。
该校是国家中西部大学基础能力建设项目支持建设大学，被评为卓越工程师教育培养计划、卓越医生教育培养计划、国家环保培训基地、教育部首批“新工科”研究与实践项目。
2002年10月，隶属于国家核工业部的核工业第六研究所并入南华大学。

There are two meanings
University of South China (USC), University of South China, founded in 1958, is located in Hengyang City, Hunan Province. It is a comprehensive university jointly built by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the State, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the National Health Commission, the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, China National Nuclear Corporation [1] and the People's Government of Hunan Province. It is formed by the merger of Central South Institute of Technology and Hengyang Medical College in May 2000. The university is a university supported by the National Basic Ability Construction Project for Higher Education in Central and Western China. It has been selected into the Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program, the Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program, the National Environmental Protection Training Base, and the first batch of 'New Engineering' research and practice projects of the Ministry of Education. In October 2002, the Sixth Institute of Nuclear Industry under the Ministry of Nuclear Industry merged into the University of South China.
